Hi there,
there are two billing issues which we are aware of.
1. Invalid phone number error : To fix the issue, add a +0 or a +1 to the beginning of the phone number.
2. Billing Address: for some NEW users of Kobos, we have found that the macro behind the credit card information is incorrect. This is being beta tested at the moment (January 18th) and should roll out as an upgrade over the next few days.
Please do contact the Kobo help desk if you are concerned about the above or if you have any other issues. help@kobobooks.com

Hi there,
version 1.9.16 is now available for download. This upgrade consolodates the Home screen, improves the page turn and search options, provides crisper text and even provides tailored Recommended or New lists.
To start this upgrade, turn the unit on. Then tap on the Sync button (the cloud-like icon). Once this sync is completed, turn your Kobo off for a moment, then turn on again. You should see a screen telling you to pay attention, it's upgrading!
Do let us know what you think or if there are other improvements you'd like to see.
